Co-Founder, Freelance Web Designer and Graphic Artist

Co-founder of two design business projects: incompra design and anoki.net.

Since 2004, I have worked at incompra design to help organizations communicate who they are, what they do, and why they do it best. This freelance-driven business we created evolved from the partnership of Sara Hodgson and myself, combining over 25 years of personal experience in advertising, marketing, graphic design, online development, and nonprofit communications. In the last 6 years, our portfolio has grown with printed materials, fundraising strategies, marketing initiatives, and online interfaces that exceeded the clients expectations, on time and within budget.

anoki.net is the collected body of work I have done with incompra as well as paid-for and charity projects done independently or with a variety of studios/agencies since 2002.

Co-Editor

In 2009, I was very honored to co-edit a textbook entitled The New Graphic Design School: A Foundation Course in Principles and Practice with my old college professor Sheena Calvert, which was based on an previous edition by David Dabner. A soup-to-nuts textbook for first-year Graphic Design design students, I focused on creating and adding various new sections to the existing manuscript such as the Web and Internet Technologies sections, Print Production Issues and Digital Printing sections, Applications and Programs Sections, as well as the Commercial Applications sections. The book is being sold in a variety of different languages to Universities and Colleges around the globe and is available on Amazon. Learn more.
