Dr. Ted Eisenberg
The Gritty: One of my earliest commercial CSS-styled sites, this site was a major upgrade project from a previous document. This hand-coded HTML/CSS/Flash hybrid site was a full-on revamp: color-scheme trials, logo development, image generation, design consultation, content audit and relayout — basically, the works. Inspired by the excitement and vivacity the doctor had about his craft, I was able to generate a sensual, visceral, almost chocolatey user-space which, from what I'm told, has been met with resounding approval.
Being ever-cautious to never seem “porn-like”, working closely with the content, design, and typography was the true challenge here as these details in the end serve to assure a sense of class and distinction are ever-present.
Currently, I have been working with the doctor and his team to keep the content on the site up-to-date and fresh, periodically adding new gallery images and update the information and elements as necessary.
